Raquel holds degrees in Literature and Communications from Fordham University and two master's degrees: one in Creative Writing from Goldsmiths, University of London, and another in Literary Criticism from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.
Her experiences as a mother and educator in various bilingual schools have shaped her holistic, playful, and creative teaching approach.
Her passion for reading and writing led her to establish Wordtopia Learning—a safe, enjoyable, and conducive space for learning. The programs at Wordtopia aim to nurture a love for learning and embrace the essence of childhood: play, wonder, and curiosity.

She is a psychologist from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, holds a Master's in Public Health from the University of Puerto Rico, and has over 15 years of experience in child education and therapy.
Her focus lies in emotional growth and understanding each individual's uniqueness.
She employs techniques that encourage self-expression through creativity, art, and movement.

She is a bilingual speech-language pathologist with experience teaching and reinforcing Spanish and English skills for preschool and elementary students.
She also supports foundational math learning in both languages for these grade levels.
Additionally, she has experience assisting adults at the basic level in both English and Spanish.

She holds a degree in Early Childhood Education and is also a psychologist, with expertise in learning through play and fostering quality interactions during early childhood.
She has experience in early childhood education research and has engaged in teaching practices within both traditional and alternative educational models.
Her passion lies in supporting early childhood educational processes through play, art, and literature.


Giovanna brings over 30 years of experience teaching English as a second language to children aged 4–12, and also instructs Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies in English. Trained in Montessori pedagogy and strategies for learners with difficulties during her time in Florida, she honed her English skills at the London College (England) and earned a Teaching English as a Second Language diploma from Bell Cambridge. Committed to lifelong learning, she has completed ongoing professional development—including the Cambridge “Teaching Knowledge Test”—and remains passionate about creating engaging, fun learning experiences for children.
